Rules of the ‘My Dad could beat your Dad challenge’:
1. The Range Langley staff must entirely observe the application* and shooting process.
2. You must provide your full name, contact information, and the time of the application*.
3. Priority is given to fathers who wish to take part, although anyone can compete in this challenge.
4. You must shoot The Range Langley’s Smith & Wesson 686 chambered in .357 Magnum.
5. The distance of the target must be no less than 20m.
6. The target used must be the ‘Bullseye’ target provided by The Range Langley.
7. The central target is the only section of consideration for this competition.
8. You can shoot up to three quick loaders per application*; your application score is averaged on how many quick loaders you shoot.
9. You can submit an application* as many times as you would like, however only your highest-scoring application* will be considered.
10. The deadline for submitting an application* is 10:00pm, June 15th, 2025.
11. The highest-scoring application* recorded on the whole date of June 15th, 2025, will win the first-place prize.
12. In the unlikely event of a tie, a random draw of the highest scorers will be held, and the winner will be announced.
13. The first-place prize for winning the ‘My Dad could beat your Dad challenge’ will be a VIP Range pass with a total value of $290; the waived contents are stated herein:
a. Two regular drop-in admissions
b. One handgun rental
c. One rifle rental
d. One shotgun rental
e. One sniper rental
f. Four mags of 9mm
g. Four mags of .223 Rem
h. Two mags of 12 Gauge
i. Two shots of .338 Lapua
j. Two paper targets
* “Application” refers to the act of shooting, scoring, and submitting a single score in consideration to the competition.
